Producers Grain PS-2CD 4427 Covered Hopper #3940

Built in the late 1960s and 1970s, these Pullman Standard 4427 cubic foot capacity covered hoppers were born in an era of bright color schemes. Many of these grain haulers would see multiple owners and paint schemes over the next thirty to forty years. With their distinctive “low side” design, these cars remained easy to spot in a train of covered hoppers. Lionel’s latest release includes cars from the 1960s to today, all matched from prototype photos for accuracy.
